Refund & Cancellation Policy – Yumoora Cakes

At Yumoora Cakes, we strive to deliver fresh, high-quality cakes and desserts for every celebration. Since our products are freshly prepared and perishable in nature, the following refund and cancellation policy applies.

1. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled up to 4 hours before the scheduled delivery or pickup time.
  • A small payment gateway/processing fee may be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Orders cancelled within 2 hours of delivery are non-refundable, as preparation of the order may have already begun.
  • Same-day delivery orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed.

2. Customized & Designer Cakes

  • Customized, photo, theme, and designer cakes are specially made according to customer requirements.
  • Once confirmed, customized cake orders cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded.
  • Any design approval shared by the customer will be considered final before production begins.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be provided in the following situations:

  • The order was not delivered due to an issue from our side.
  • The wrong product was delivered.
  • The product was delivered in a damaged condition caused before delivery.
  • The ordered item is unavailable and no suitable replacement is accepted by the customer.

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.
  • Recipient unavailable at the delivery address.
  • Failed delivery attempts due to unreachable contact numbers.
  • Minor variations in cake design, color, decoration, or packaging, as handmade products may differ slightly from displayed images.
  • Damage caused after successful delivery.
  • Delay caused by traffic, weather conditions, festivals, public restrictions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5. Quality Concerns

If you receive a product that is damaged or not as ordered, please contact us within 1 hour of delivery and share clear photographs of the product.

Our team will review the issue and may offer:

  • A replacement product,
  • Store credit, or
  • A partial/full refund, depending on the situation.

6. Refund Processing Time

  • Online payment refunds: 5–7 business days
  • UPI/Card/Net Banking refunds: Subject to bank processing timelines.
  • Store credit (if offered): Issued within 24 hours after approval.
